Move, Breathe & Restore

Hā Wellness is the heartbeat of Arataki.

The name Hā carries deep meaning. In te reo Māori, it is the breath - the essence of life.

Across cultures, it’s also linked to energy, spirit, and prana: the vital force that flows through us. Breath is where movement begins, where stillness is found, and where we return to ourselves.

Meet The Instructors

Nickee Evelyn

Founder & Lead Instructor

Kia ora, I’m Nickee - founder and kaitiaki of Hā Wellness. I created this studio as a sanctuary for people to reconnect with themselves and their breath.

I’m a certified Mat, Reformer, and Yoga instructor, with over 500 hours of Yin and Vinyasa training, including the first Māori YTT at Awhi Yoga Studio.

Movement has always been part of my life, from running and CrossFit to more mindful practices.

After a back injury, I shifted towards long-term strength, mobility, and wellbeing - and that’s what I now share at Hā Wellness.

Phoebe Ellis

Mat & Reformer Pilates

Brings a warm, uplifting energy to every class with just the right amount of burn. Trained through Barre Body Australia, I weave mindful movement with intentional strength.

Pilates is my balance - a space to ground the mind while challenging the body. It’s where I’ve found resilience, focus, and a deeper connection to myself.

Expect spicy core sets, thoughtful cues, and playlists that keep you moving through the shake - always leaving with both strength and a smile.

I’m Jayne, a certified Reformer and Yoga instructor with a passion to make movement accessible for everyone.

Through various trainings I have gained a vast knowledge of anatomy, the mind and the nervous system, which I integrate into each practice.

Join me as we navigate the world of holistic nourishment for the mind, body and soul.

Juliana Pessoa

Mat & Reformer Pilates

I hold a degree in Physical Education and have been teaching Pilates since 2009, with experience in both Mat Pilates and Pilates Apparatus.

I’m passionate about helping people build strength, improve mobility, and feel more connected to their bodies.

Outside the studio, I’m a proud mum of two girls and love spending time in nature - especially at the beach. I truly love sharing the benefits of Pilates and supporting others on their movement journey.

Grace Richards

Reformer Instructor

I’m Grace, a Certified Reformer Pilates instructor.

I love building community through all types of movement and empowering clients with the tools they need to master their own strength. Whether you’re a beginner or a pro, I’m here to help you move with purpose.

Expect an athletic approach, dynamic spicy flows, and classes that challenge you in all the right ways. Options are always offered, and you’ll leave feeling stronger, longer, and more connected.

At Hā, we believe movement

is more then exercise

It is a practice of connection to self
